It may not seem clear at first, so many names and numbers, brands and special lingo.  It took me 5 days of reading, searching to even begin to understand where to start.  The frustration and what appear to be high prices can scare anyone off but this isn't the case at all, not even close.

After nearly 1 year of using an ecigarette I can safely say that it isn't a replacement for cigarettes, it's everything you ever wanted in a cigarette without the ills of smoking. Satisfaction times 100 for a small fraction of the cost.

If you smoke, know someone who smokes then my mission is to share with you information to help you jump in and get satisfaction right off.  Once you give it a chance I am certain that your life will change in ways you never hoped for.

The last cigarette I smoked was a camel, my all time favorite brand and one of the most expensive.  My impressions?

Who put a dead rat and some cat poop in my cigarette? I can't believe I spend all these years paying for this?  Did they change the formula because this taste like crappola!

Are you with me?!??!  Right then, let's jump right in!

Typically there are of 2 varieties.

1. The older Kr808 (still favored because of this wide spectrum branding and availability not bad entry level kits for the price) Generally but not in all cases these are offered under a brand name, often a nice little logo or something but the website doesn't tell you that it is a Kr808.  The lack of information suggests that this is likely the type of ecig but I say don't buy any equipment from a vendor that doesn't make it clear what type.. they are trying to sell you a brand name and that is silly unless it's a manufacturer brand name like Boge or Joye.  They make stuff.. others try to brand it.  Sometimes it is a good thing (customer support, etc...) other times it is a not so good thing designed to trap you into a brand name that is overprices and exactly the same average hardware you could find anywhere else for a lot less if only you knew what hardware they sold.

The original 3 piece 901 kit ... identified by the cartridge that slides over the atomizer. (These are often the most expensive kits.. believe it or not.  If you see an add for a kit and they only want you to pay shipping beware.  Later they will bill your card and more than once as the fine print is hidden somewhere and sometimes not even linked that says you are agreeing to buy not only an overpriced out of date kit but that they will subscribe you to a cartridge delivery every month.)  You can't get something for nothing.  Expect to pay between $12-75 for a basic starter kit.

2. Oddly, 510 the most widely used type of ecig takes a little bit of digging to discover it is the most popular, inexpensive and easy to find just about every type of parts system.  Kr808 might be second choice overall but because of what I said in point 1.   There are several manufactured names and brands that stand out that I haven't mentioned but I'll let you do the research on that for yourself.   Over time these things will make themself known to you by participation in the communities of ecig users.

Your Challenge should you choose to accept it:

Your first challenge is to find enough equipment and ejuice to get you going once you start.  Recognize your addictive mindset and the fact that this is a technology that requires a certain level of planning and support.  If you run out of one thing or another it's possible you might just go back to smoking, even for a short time.  You don't believe me now but 3 hours after you get started you will begin to worry if you don't have a ready supply.  Going back to cigarettes becomes less and less acceptable over time to the point where you wouldn't smoke one if someone paid you to.

The biggest online forum:

Any google searches will end up landing you on this forum anyway so it would be a good idea to sign up and post as soon as you have a question as it takes a few posts before you are allowed to post anywhere on the forum site.

The folks there are very helpful if you need advice, in general the e-cig community is very helpful especially to newcomers.
